About us

Since having to close the Royal Opera House in March 2020, we have lost £3 in every £5 of our income. Our audiences are at the heart of what we do and we urgently need your help. Please support the Royal Opera House community today and help secure the future of ballet and opera.

Thank you for all you have helped us to do so far.

Your donations to our Recovery Campaign have enabled us to:

  • Adapt the performance, practice and work spaces inside our buildings to ensure all are Covid-safe for our community of artists, craftspeople and staff
  • Bring #OurHouseToYourHouse via online streams and cinemas
  • Provide space for artists to safely return to their training and practice routines
  • Help our security staff keep our beautiful building secure
